The trend towards renewable energies and the associated energy storage needs has already developed into a multi-billion dollar market, in which the E-Stream team intends to play a leading role with its bundled experience.
As a result of our drive for innovation and our instinct for upcoming trends, we design solutions that range from classic residential storage systems to large storage systems and electro mobility. IN EVERYDAY LIFE
Lithium-ion storage systems have become an integral part of our everyday lives. Whether in electric shavers, smartphones, power tools or in model buildings - lithium-ion storage devices are used everywhere. These allow flexibility that nobody wants to trade for. It is precisely this widespread use of this storage technology that is increasingly leading to higher demands on the market for performance. This is where E-Stream's work begins by developing promising solution concepts.
MOBILE AND FLEXIBLE
The history of electronically operated vehicles goes back almost 100 years. In the meantime, not only the automobile but also battery technology has developed significantly.
In addition to other lithium-ion cell formats, the cylindrical cell is characterized by its high energy density as being extremely effective and powerful. It is small, highly flexible and has a high energy density and low weight at the same time. Due to these advantages combined with their mature technology, this cell type is particularly interesting for electric cars and solar system operators.
HOME AND INDUSTRY
According to EuPD Research, residential storage usage market growth is exceeding all expectations. Based on a considerable total market volume of around 37,500 battery storage systems sold in Germany in 2017, this number rose to 45,000 units in 2018 - and the trend will continue to rise over the next few years. In 2019, over 50,000 newly installed residential storage systems are therefore expected. The demand for residential storage systems will continue to grow rapidly in the years to come. Subsidies for solar systems are gradually running out. The feed-in tariff is no longer applicable for many owners of solar systems, so that the electricity is fed into the public grid, but there is no compensation whatsoever. On the contrary, the Storm even has to be bought back. Here in particular, it makes sense to rely on residential storage technology so that the electricity generated in-house can also remain in the household and can be accessed when required.

Companies are therefore relying more and more on renewable, but still fluctuating, energy from wind and sun, not only because of political pressure but also on their own accord.
